INGREDIENTS:
400g Raw peeled and deveined Medium Sized King Prawns
3 tbsp cornflour
Salt and White Pepper
1 tsp finely chopped garlic
1 tsp finely chopped ginger
1 tsp sesame oil
2 stalks spring onions chopped
1 tsp of roasted white sesame seeds
Sauce:
2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Hoisin Sauce
2 tsp Ketchup
2tbsp White Rice Vinegar
1 tbsp of Sugar
RECIPE:
1. Into a bowl, combine all the ingredients to make the sauce and whisk well.
2. In another bowl, season the prawns with salt and white pepper. Add the cornflour and mix well to combine.
3. Heat some oil in a pan. Add the prawns and fry for 5-6 mins until they are cooked and crispy on both sides. Set aside on a plate.
4. In a heated pan, add some oil and fry the chopped garlic and ginger for 1min. Add the premixed sauce and then add the prawns and spring onions.
5. Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle with some roasted sesame seeds. Ready to serve with rice or noodles.
