Place the beef into the mixing bowl and add in cornflour, mix until the beef is well coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a large pan. Add in garlic, chili and ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes. At this point add the sesame oil. After approx 1 minute add in the shaoshing wine. Cook for a couple of minutes.
Stir in soy sauce, water and brown sugar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes. Set aside.
Meanwhile add enough oil to a wok or pan to fry the beef.
Add in the beef, not overcrowding the pan. Brown the beef on both sides for 1-2 minutes..
Remove from the oil and place the beef in the sauce already prepared. Add in the mixed greens.
Bring the sauce and beef back to a simmer and cook until thickened , approx 2-3 minutes.
Serve immediately with jasmine rice and spring onions for garnish.
