Christmas Crumble
(serves 8)
ingredients:
500g mincemeat
175g plain flour
110g golden caster sugar
110g low fat margarine, cubed
2 tbsp porridge oats
2 tbsp flaked almonds
method:
1. Pre-heat your oven to 190 degrees C.
2. Mix the butter and the flour until you have a sandy mixture. You can use a food processor, blender or mix by hand.
3. Add to a bowl and stir in the sugar, oats and almonds.
4. Lay the mincemeat out in an ovenproof dish and scatter the crumble mixture evenly on top.
5. Bake in the oven 30-40 minutes until the mincemeat is heated through and the crumble is crispy, golden and delicious.
