• 8 slices white bread, with crusts cut off keep the crusts
• ½ punnet of Irish Strawberries sliced (slice the tops and keep them for the sauce)
METHOD
1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. In a bowl mix together the cream cheese, icing sugar, sliced strawberries and vanilla with a wooden spoon
3. In another bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon and the blended crusts from the bread.
4. Melt the butter into a third bowl.
5. Using a rolling pin, flatten out the white bread.
6. Cover each slice of bread with the cream cheese mixture and spread it out evenly
7. Roll up each slice of bread tightly. Dip each roll into the melted butter and then coat in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
8. Place the roll ups on your baking sheet.
9. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
10. Serve warm or at room temperature.
11. For the sauce, place the strawberry tops (including the greens) into a bowl and sprinkle with castor sugar, leave at room temperature for an hour and then blend
