Nut Free Protein Balls/Energy Balls

Nut Free Protein Balls:

Ingredients:
•1/2 cup of sunflower seeds
•1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds
•1 cup of dates(stone removed )
•2-3dessert spoons of cocoa
•1 tsp of vanilla extract

Method:
- Add the seeds & cocoa to your food processor & blitz for 10-15 seconds until a crumb is formed.
- add your dates (soaking them in hot water for a few seconds before hand )& vanilla extract & blitz again for 15-20 seconds until mixture is well combined & sticky.
- form into a ball -Ideally let them chill prior to eating but chances are you won't 

*** Can be frozen for up to two weeks

Energy Balls:

Ingredients:
•1 cup of Flahavan's porridge oats 
•1 cup of cashews (or any nuts )
•1 1/2 cup of dates(stone removed )
•3 heaped dessert spoons of cocoa 
•1 dessert spoon goji berries 
•1 teaspoon coconut oil

Method:
- Add the Flahavan's Porridge Oats,nuts,goji berries & cocoas to a food processor & blitz for 15-20 seconds until a crumb is formed.
- add the dates (soften up dates first by soaking them in hot water for a few seconds) & coconut oil & blitz for a further 15-20 seconds until mixture is well combined & sticky.
- form into a ball & finish off by rolling them in desiccated coconut.
- Ideally let them chill prior to eating but chances are you won't.
