Ingredients:
• 75g/3oz Odlums Porridge Oatflakes
• 2 x 150g Chocolate Covering (Milk/Dark as preferred)
• 75g/3oz Margarine
• 125g/4oz Caster Sugar
• 1 Egg (beaten)
• 25g/1oz Walnuts (chopped)
• 75g/3oz Cherries (chopped)
• 75g/3oz Sultanas
Method:
1. Melt the chocolate and spread on a lined swiss roll tin.
2. Leave it to cool.
3. Beat margarine and sugar until creamy, add the beaten egg.
4. Mix in the oatmeal, walnuts, cherries and sultanas.
5. Spread evenly over the chocolate and bake in a pre-heated oven at
150°C/300°F/Gas 2 for 20 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
Allow to cool and then cut into slices.
