Turn your cookie dough into a big chunk of love with these chunky chocolate cookie bars
Ingredients:
125g plant based butter
100g soft brown sugar
75g white granulated sugar
½ tsp flake salt
2 tbsp plant milk of choice I use oat
250g plain flour
50g cornflour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
200g chocolate chunks
Method:
First preheat your oven to 180 ° c fan or near to 200 ° c on a regular oven.
Now we can line an oven tin 20cm x 20cm with greaseproof proof paper.
Now in a mixer cream your plant butter and sugars together until pale once that’s done we can add in our salt and oat milk and mix until all combined.
Now we can chuck in all the remaining ingredients except the choc chunks , we will leave them until last ,mix again until it forms a rough cookie dough and now we can add our chockie chunks.
Now empty it into your lined tin and press down to cover the base evenly and bake for 20 mins , once the top looks dry with golden (not burnt ) edges we are ready.
We need to leave this to cool before serving , we can serve these as grab and go bars or drizzle with a little melted chocolate and serve with ice cream as you do !!
