Sinéad Delahunty shares her recipe for The 'True Blue' Burger
(serves 2)
Ingredients:
2 x Lidl Irish Angus Quarter Pounders
Oil
Salt and pepper
2 x brioche burger buns
50g Cashel Blue cheese
50g Greek-style plain yoghurt
Tomato relish
Iceberg lettuce, thinly sliced
Method:
1. Preheat a dry frying or grill pan over a medium-high heat.
2. Season the burgers with 1 teaspoonful of oil and some salt and pepper.
3. Place onto the hot pan with a sizzle. Cook for 4 minutes on each side or to your preference.
4. Remove the burgers from the heat and place the buns onto the pan to lightly toast for 2 minutes.
5. Mix the cheese and yoghurt together in a bowl until a smooth mix is formed.
6. Build your burger: remove the toasted burger buns from the pan and spread tomato relish on the bun base followed by some lettuce, top with the burger and a tablespoonful of the cheese mix on top.
