The Disagreement that Divides a Nation: Barry?s Tea vs. Lyons Tea

The Dublin Coffee and Tea festival taking place Friday 11th, Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th in the RDS is an event that aims to educate and inspire the public and national media about speciality coffee and teas and embrace the associated culture and lifestyle.

It’s practically a national drink at this stage. You can’t go far in Ireland without being offered a cup and you’ll most likely cause offense if you refuse one.

The other risk of course is if said person who offers you that cup of tea is not on the same tea team as you, and by that we of course mean do they prefer Barry’s tea or Lyons tea?

It has caused many heated debates and the argument never seems to be settled as to which tea tastes better, Barry’s or Lyons. So we want to settle the and find out what the majority think! Or are there any rival suggestions you’d like to put forward?
