Winners of the free Electricity* agree to switch to SSE Airtricity Electricity to avail of the Free Electricity prize. Pre-Paid Meter winners must agree to switch to a credit meter for the full one year. Winners must ensure that their SSE Airtricity account is free of any outstanding debt prior to the application of the prize amount's. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants to the Competition.

Terms and Conditions for SSE Airtricity League of Ireland Competition

 

The Prize:

A chance to win: Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,456*

 

1. SSE Airtricity Limited (“SSE Airtricity”) is carrying out a promotion in which eligible entrants who enter the Prize Draw between 24 September 2024 (the “Opening Date”) 30 September 2024 (the “Closing Date”) can be in with a chance to win:

The Prize: 

• Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,458*
• A family 2025 season pass(2 adults, 2 children max.) to the club of your choice*
• 2025 LOITV Annual Pass for 2025 Season*
• Jerseys for the Family(2 adults, 2 children max.)

 

Entrants enter the Prize Draw by……. The overall winner will be chosen at random. (the “Prize Draw”)

2. In order to be eligible to participate in the Prize Draw and be in with the chance to win the prize mentioned above in Condition 1 (the “Prizes”), entrants must accept these Terms and Conditions and fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
• Winners of the free Electricity* agree to switch to SSE Airtricity Electricity to avail of the Free Electricity prize.
• Pre-Paid Meter winners must agree to switch to a credit meter for the full one year.
• Winners must ensure that their SSE Airtricity account is free of any outstanding debt prior to the application of the prize amount's. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants to the Competition.

3. The winners of the Prize will be chosen at random and the winners will be notified no later than five working days after the competition closes.
4. The winners may be required to submit valid identification before receiving the Prize.
5. There shall be no cash alternative to the Prize.
6. The winner agrees that details of the winner (name, town/city, county, and photograph) may be posted on SSE Airtricity’s website (sseairtricity.com) and on other promotional materials, as well as any press releases which may be distributed to national/local media. The winner also agrees to participate in any promotional activities as well as any press releases in connection with the Prize Draw. Failure by the winner to adhere to the provisions of this Condition 6 shall result in the Prize(s) being withdrawn immediately.
7. SSE Airtricity is not responsible for late or incorrectly completed entries or for problems with entries caused by any factors outside its control.
8. SSE Airtricity excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage caused to the winner arising out of the Prize.
9. The Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions and the winner is responsible for ensuring that any such terms and conditions are complied with. SSE Airtricity accept no responsibility for the customer's or any third party's acts or omissions resulting in a breach of a third party's terms of use resulting in termination or revocation of same.
10. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to cancel or amend the Prize Draw or these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
11. If there is any dispute regarding these Terms and Conditions, the selection of the winners or any other matter relating to the Prize Draw, the decision of SSE Airtricity shall be final and binding and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into with any entrant.
12. By entering the Prize Draw the entrant warrants that he or she has the legal capacity to enter the Prize Draw and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
13. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of these Terms and Conditions. SSE Airtricity also reserves the right to disqualify any entrants which it deems, in its sole discretion, to contravene the spirit of the Prize Draw.
14. If any entrant is disqualified from the Prize Draw, SSE Airtricity in its sole discretion may decide whether a replacement entrant should be selected. In this event, any further entrant will be selected on the same criteria as the original entrant and will be subject to these Terms and Conditions.
15. Proof of transmission cannot be accepted as proof of delivery. SSE Airtricity does not accept responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, alteration of, or unauthorised access to entries, or entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control.
16. The Prize Draw is organised by SSE Airtricity having a trading address at SSE Airtricity, Red Oak South, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18.
    
    

*Definition of the Prize: “Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,458*”

 

1. Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,458* is applicable to one domestic Meter Point Reference Number (“MPRN”) in Republic of Ireland. If the winner has more than one MPRN with SSE Airtricity, only one MPRN will be awarded with the ‘Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,458*
2. A single year of Free Electricity is calculated based on the Estimated Annual Bill (“EAB”) of our Fixed Rate Dual Fuel offering as of 22^nd April 2024.
3. Notwithstanding any other provision in these Terms and Conditions, the value of Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,458*will not exceed €2,458 (inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate and associated charges).
4. All un-metered charges such as disconnection/reconnection charges, meter exchange charges and any other such equivalent charges will be paid by the winner (full list of un-metered charges may be accessed at: https://account.sseairtricity.com/
5. Any outstanding debt with SSE Airtricity Limited must be paid in full before the winner may avail of their “Your electricity bill paid for a year with SSE Airtricity to the value of €2,458*
