A delicious recipe for Grilled Char Siu Chicken skewers with turmeric Greek style yogurt dip and Asain salad.
We all love Grilled Chicken on the BBQ We all love Char Siu. So why not combine them & make char siu grilled chicken. Grilled chicken with Chinese bbq sauce and using turmeric yogurt as a cooling dip.

Ingredients
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 table spoon of Hoi sin bbq sauce
2 tablespoons Black Garlic Street Sauce
1 tablespoon Shaoxing cooking wine, rice wine, or beer
½ teaspoon ChanChan Spice Seasoning
½ teaspoon sesame oil
2 cloves Black garlic
2 pounds chicken fillets strips, thighs and drumstick deboned.
2 table spoon of Greek yogurt as a dip.
1 table spoon of turmeric powder
Instructions
Mix together the sauce, the brown sugar, Shaoxing wine, spice seasoning, sesame oil, garlic in a bowl ready for marinating the chicken bites
Put in the chicken fillet strips, wings, drumsticks meat in the marinade and leave for 20mins or put in a zip bag the night before.
put the chicken on wooden skewers and in the oven at 185c, put it on the prepared baking sheet On a tray, turning once, for 10 minutes per side––making sure to keep an eye on the chicken to ensure it doesn’t burn.
Put ½ of the BBQ sauce in a small bowl for serving, and set aside.
Baste the chicken with the remaining sauce and continue to grill or broil until the chicken is cooked through (time will vary depending on the size of your chicken thighs and drumsticks). Transfer the chicken to a serving platter, brush with the reserved sauce, and a spoon of turmeric Greek yogurt and serve with a Asain salad! Yum!
