Celtic v Arsenal Live on TV3

UEFA Champions League soccer returns to TV3 this month, TV3 today confirmed the play-off match between Celtic and Arsenal as its first pick match for as the opening live match of the 2009/10 season.

Celtic and Arsenal go head to head at Celtic Park on August 18 in the first leg of the play-off round for a place in the lucrative group stage of the competition.

TV3 Sports Editor Kieran Holden said: "We have 16 live matches in this season's UEFA Champions League but this is a fantastic fixture to mark TV3's return as broadcast partner of the competition. We are thrilled to have an outstanding match to kick off our coverage, it's great to be back!"
